Roman is 20 years old lone soldier. He made Aliyah 2 years ago from Kazakhstan through the SELAH program (without his parents). His first home in Israel was at a Student village in Ibim, not far from Sderot. This area suffered from Kassam rockets. Roman excelled in his studies at the Ulpan and at the Selah program and was loved by his teachers and friends. When he finished the program, he joined the IDF and he currently serves as a commander. Prior to his position, he went through a commander course and was recognized as an exceptional soldier of the course. Roman is a motivated soldier who joined the army in order to contribute Israel as much as he can.
